Hello.,I think the way the end of her tail was done well, it's nice how you can see it through the water but is the ship sinking? And is she anticipating saving/capturing any of the sailors? If she is , I would say to have her facing the ship. But if not then it wouldn't matter. I just think there should be more connection there?

the skin tone and & structure of the myth is good the tail has good detail and colours .The ocean and sky talented .

Wow! I love this!!! What an excellent book cover this would be! I always am amazed at your skill in portraying the human form with such lithesome grace. But I have not seen your skill at scenery such as water and sky...which are so very lovely. And the boat is excellent!! I really have enjoyed this one! Wow!!

Aren't mermaids sirens? No? No matter, this one is lovely and looks quite fetching perched on her rock. A really nice painting from a world of mermaids, unicorns, leprechauns and all the other things we know are out there somewhere.

Yes, This is what I am talking about by expanding your work. This has all the elements that are needed in a sea painting. The mermaid is very nice. Some might have just left the mermaid. But you, no.
