I am so envious of this capture, we have coyotes but I have never been fortunate enough to be camera ready. :-))
I believe the time of day and the bright sunlight stole color and detail from your subject - down the right of her snout, leg and right top rear. Your camera should have been set to "under expose" by a couple of steps. You may be able to get some detail back by reducing highlight and adding shadow. Short of that you can add the color and texture back in with PS and the cloning tool. This last suggestion takes finesse and practice but I believe this post to be worth it.
This capture is definitely a "keeper"! Your eye contact with the subject is superb. The angle to the shot and placement in the frame is very nice. Thanks for sharing and good luck!

A nice shot of what is becoming an increasingly common animal. The composition is excellent and the colors are very good. Best of luck in the contest.

believe it or not these critters are in the midsouth as well. they attack cats and small dogs..they do get around. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the critter is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
