A swirling flow of warm earth tones giving these exotic petals a suggestive kinetic presentation.
Congratulations! No flaws whatsoever!
How can you go wrong with this concept.
Thanks for sharing...

The swirl effect works really well Annie. The image itself of a close-up of the flower is sharp and gives no indication of it's imminent decease. A pleasure to view. Many thanks. Mike

It does still look beautiful in the way you have portrayed it. I like your new style with the swirls of mixed colors. You always do something to delight me. Thank you for sharing your talent with us on FAR.

An eye catching shot with lots of motion for a "still life" and yet the details are meticulously retained. I like the saturated colors and the very nice composition.

I like your theme with this one. The almost spent Tulip is Swirling into oblivion...maybe down the Insinkerator.. Or maybe on it's way to Oz... JK.
Your overall color scheme is beautiful and dynamic and was obviously developed from the colors of the flower...being cautious not to pick up the rich black from around your clearly focused stamen. The many hues of reds and blends of yellow into streaks of orange are beautiful. Did the swath of blue come from swirling a bit of green/black into the yellow do you think? The play of light and shadows among your petals and swirls have a good sense of order..not chaos..making this very pleasant to study.
As with all of your creations..this one is expertly accomplished and award winning, Annie. Thanks for sharing your artistry here on FAR.
