You have perfectly captured the emotional toll this has had on her on her face her. Fantastic use of shading and shadow. Wonderfully detailed.

I know I'm doing the 'story' backwards but just as effective regardless.

I will have to check out the first one. The details of this tragic scene is awesome. The realism you have captured is amazing. The downward look is catching her in thought of the next move. The bloody aftermath of her actions leaved no question of her success. Great work.

Very good detail. I would like to read it. Love that you do your own illustrations. I think that I would do that because you know your characters and how they are supposed to look, etc. I love to write too, and I know what they are supposed to be like. Good luck!
