This is a really nice one Deb. I like the contrasting colors of the yellow and green. I especially like the "simple composition" of the entire scene. The object to the right makes for a nice framing element and is just enough out of focus as to bring the subjects to life. Good use of depth of field. Just a very well done photo Deb ~ Steve

The object to the right Steve is a boulder about the size of a small car. I have several huge rocks scattered around in my gardens. You're right too....they make a nice base to grow flowers around. Thank you so very much for that wonderful review Steve and the extra star. I really do appreciate both.

Thank you for the interesting notes with this lovely capture of the beautiful Viola - I like the unusual view from behind showing the sun shining through the petals. Very good lighting and focus showing excellent clarity. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Happy to hear that Lorraine.....I once was severely chastised for including 'too much info' in my notes so appreciate it when someone tells me they enjoyed them. Thanks so much for checking out my post.

Lovely and love your info. Well taken, good focus and exposure, not over saturated. Where you have excelled here is in your composition. Love the placement the blossom in the frame, the curve of the second stem, and the portrait orientation.

I never thought about taking a photo of the back of a flower until I became a member of FAR. It is a very nice effect. For me, the flower is good, but the surroundings around the flower makes this even a better photo. Great job.

Wow what a vibrant yellow! Pansies (or Violas) are such cheerful flowers, and yellow is the most cheerful of all. My great grandmother always grew them all around her house, so this brought back a nice memory. Lovely shot!

Beautiful flower picture, so fragile and fresh - I love your back side perspective, something different as always with view into the flower center
I think your picture is well framed , excellent in sharpness, contrast and lighting
I love the empty stem as it show cycles of life in nature very beautifully
I think your picture is well composed, well balanced and excellent in color saturation, thanks for sharing

I agree Regina....I get so tired of seeing flowers dead-on center from above....boring...lol...to me anyway. Thank you so much for the lovely review. I do appreciate you checking out my post.
