What a rugged looking terrain. The red clay and bright blue sky make a very striking contrast and lovely composition. Thanks for sharing this. Great shot!

A very nice perspective on this beautiful geological formation. The cultural and economic significance of the locale can not be overemphasized. The image is very sharp with fine colors. Best of luck in the contest.

this is a nice shot of the cliffs on this holiday destination of yours...the image is well structured and the focusing is sharp . The contrast between sky and the rustic colours of the cliff tops works well and enhances the subject even mores

What an interesting scene!
( But then,It's rumored that there are several very interesting things down in the Negev desert, not all of them 'natural formations' either : ) )
Anyway, rather than go on about what may or may not be hidden away there,I'll just say that this picture of the Pillars of Solomon is a really good looking photo!

An interesting initial impact.
Panoramic capture! Great details, features and textures.
Aptly captured for the contest theme... An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors save for the blue sky Excellent details & features. Impressive strokes & textures. Thanks for sharing...
Impressive entry. Potential voters choice...

Thanks for your info.
Astonishing and yes this is Nature's awesome work same as the Rocky mountains. These monuments have all sorts of designs like one we see when we open a "FACE"! Colors are extremely natural and the most awesome that will ever exist! Properly described, centered, shadowed and detailed. Magnificent description and great eye viewer.
Thanks for showing.
Congratulations and GOOD LUCK.
Wonderful Independence Day!
PS: Sorry no vi left!!!!!!

This is a very solid presentation skillfully done.

The technical aspects of this image are excellent in exposure with no blow outs or block ups. Details can be seen clearly showing good focus throughout the various depths of the photograph. Your considered compositional style adds to the strength for you have given just a smidgen of sky to emphasize the beauty of the landscape.

The colour saturation is true to nature and is not overcooked in any way. This is a purist's delight of a photograph.

Also, thank you for your artist's notes....they help to enlighten. Israel is on our bucket list.

Chuck, thank you. We have tried twice to go to Israel. Then the bombs started going off....I know the media blows things up but our cruise ship did not go to Israel that year. And still the bombs continue......when will it ever end?
