Hi Mary!
This little Batrachian creature is a fascinating little 'beastie' and your nocturnal photographic capture of him is a pleasantly unusual piece that's very enjoyable to view!
'Good Show',my friend!

A mild chiaroscuro effect.
Subtle illumination.
Sharply focused.
An interesting initial impact.
Centered framing.
I'd consider cropping a bit from the right frame.
Thanks for sharing...

they do freeze when you spotlight them. see in Mississippi we eat bullfrog legs. when you go to the bayou all you have is a flashlight, gig and bucket. when you spotlight them they freeze and then you gig themand throw em in a bucket. its a Mississippi thing..wink. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the frog on the plant is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

What a great capture. The flashlight remarkably gives good highlights to the frog who looks like he was hit by a stun gun. I like the earthy colors which gives the piece a neutral look. I'm sure the frog survived and is on another adventure. Great capture.

A very nice shot that captures the feel of the night while still showing the frog in fine detail. A nicely composed image with fine colors.
