This photo of the rose has such a dreamy quality to it with the soft focus. I love the highlights on the rose petals and the dark wooden background. Very nice.

It's gotta be the topaz filter because I have a rose and baby breath on my foyer table but it doesn't compare to this gorgeous sight. You did a magnificent job in capturing a simple flower. I love what you did here.

This rose looks truly delicate with the peach colors against brown, and the small white blooms surrounding it are pretty as well. I especially like the light and shadow showing in the foreground, and also how nicely the light is falling on the rose.
With all the editing and softening it is difficult to judge if the focus was sharp, but my guess is that it was, but that you wanted a softer look. The small blooms are blending in nicely with the background, but those at the front are a bit blown out, and to me the sharp whiteness of them is a bit distracting. Perhaps you should try to darken them a bit, but I do appreciate that this is a matter of taste.
The cropping has worked well and I think the flowers has a got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is an all together truly lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
