Beautiful color and lighting in this shot! I really enjoy the way the frame is set up as well, insect placement perfection! I do have issues with the detail in your aphids body - I want strong detail as his perch is! He is the star of the show at least for me but his perching spot has more detail... good detail but steals from him! This is a beautiful shot - perhaps he can be intensified to his perches strength. Great shot, thanks for sharing and good luck!

Good color. Black aphid stands out from surroundings. But, out of focus. Looks like the focus is on the center stamen instead of the aphid.

Quite a good nature shot presented here. You had some very attractive subjects to work with! Your composition is fine but I feel that the photo suffers from two main drawbacks. Firstly its not sharp enough for my tastes. Secondly I believe there is too much digital noise present. Otherwise, not bad!
