Raoul, before I read your notes I looked at your art and said to myself, "there is a message here, see if you can find it"...well I missed Trump, thought the moon had a dermatological problem, I saw the Russian sickle sign...missed the EU stars and didn't get the elf. Now, after reading your notes I get it.

Especially wonderful is your poem and I resonated with it...with the hopeful thread of it that is. What a year it has been....

Our financial loss is painful thanks to Brexit...alas this is not a financial forum...so I will leave it at that and just thank you for an exciting post that makes us ponder and wonder.

Very interesting composition, at first it comes across little whimsical, but I can tell it holds a deeper meaning and mysteriously hides its. Sorry I but I haven't deciphered the clock, because I'm not good with roman numerals but I can detect political implications. Thanks for sharing and I hope the first of 2017 will bring a solution to some of them.

kinda like the old tim burton classic with a lil twist. cool. the blend of color is awesome. the details is excellent. the shading is excellent. the depth is excellent. the body form and language is excellent. the creation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. very creative and awesome work overall(standing,clapping, and cheering) woooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooo!

Very creative symbolism going on here! I especially like the way you represented the Brexit reference. The Trump is funny. I like the starry snowfall effect in your background too. I'm not clear on the 1984, 2016. I think Orwell and Back to the Future (the time on the clock). Great poem accompanying this work of art.
