I like the angle that suggest this beauty is stretching up to the sky above. Wonderful contrast between all colors. The frame and overall presentation is very well through through and offers that nice diagonal line I think most find appealing. Well done.

Lovely composition, Cleo. It certainly gives one the feeling of a summer's day with the bright blue sky in the background and the light shining on the colourful petals of the Oleander. I like the way it goes diagonally across the frame. I like the painterly effect. Great composition. Suzanne

Thank you very much Suzanne, I hoped for that painterly effect because I do not like when my paintings have a photo look to it.

Beautiful digital painting of these oleander. To me, they are lovely and deadly. We had dog and never had them because they are so deadly.
My only suggestion, would have been to keep the entires leaves within the frame, down in the lower left corner. Even when I crop, I will clone in or out section to keep it all in frame instead of cutting off sections. Just me, I am sure :)

Beautiful digital painting of these oleander. To me, they are lovely and deadly. We had dog and never had them because they are so deadly.

I cut those leaves in purpose. I had them in the original painting, but I hat to many of them. I have over painted them with sky in another version, but that did not look right to me either. I will look again at them.

another really beautiful flower depiction. a warming summer feel to rid us of our winter blues. great and lovely attention to detail and the angle of the work is also very pleasing. gives you an insects view of what would be considered a towering bloom. excellent picture.
