That's another Outstanding picture,Deb!
We have very little snow around here ( Lilith be Praised! ) but this could easily be a view into the 'Dark Woods' on the eastern side of the 'Secret Ravine' during a typical Winter! : )

I think your Lilith has been hanging out around my place Sean...lol... and the 'Dark Woods' ?? I love the image! Thank you so very much for not only checking out my snowy post but for giving it that extra sparkle. I appreciate both a lot but would REALLY appreciate Lilith heading your way for a change!

If you have not tried a metal (Aluminum) print yet, I strongly recommend it for this image. You will not be sorry. This is such a seemly image. What makes it special is the mixture of cool hues and tones against warm hues and tones. It's a true illustration of how opposites attract. The warm sky (seemingly a fire) illuminates the snow covered trees below; reminding me of a quote - "However long the dark, dawn will break". Simply beautiful and thought provoking.

I LOVE metal prints Kathy...and agree. This shot is perfect for one. Funny how the sky is always this color on the coldest of days. My camera really acted up earlier..and not just the battery....changing settings was challenging as well. Your quote btw....perfect for getting through the brutal cold here right now. Thank you so much for the lovely review....and for having a good look. I do appreciate it.

A beautiful winter landscape. Framing is smart. It gives more space for trees keeping them as the focal point. Focus is good. Lighting is well handled so as the bright orange sky doesn't distract attention.

Well done and thanks for sharing
