A great picture of this beautiful & peaceful little roadside Chapel in Recess, Connemara with it's white washed walls, blue paintwork & Wicklow slate roof inviting the tired, worried & weary to enter pray or just listen to the silence & collect ones thoughts. If Mass was in progress the building & the people inside come to life many of them neighbours. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting. The white sky above is just the way it can be over Ireland & needs no touch-up or adjustments. Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Yes America now needs help from above indeed the whole world...

I like the subject, your pov and the nice contrast the blue brings to the structure. Your dof is nice and deep and consequently allows for nice crispness throughout the image. I do wish there was some color in the sky - but hey... It's that time of year. Nice. Kathy

Isn't Ireland magical? I played golf at Ballybunion in Connemara, but I missed this lovely church. Excellent framing and focus. Having the statue in the picture adds interest. Good job.

lol...i can imagine there are a lot of people turning to the church to prey for America and the world to be honest...but hey..he may surprise everyone so keep the faith my friend ! Its a nice shot and presentation of this quaint church

Yes it is always good to be reminded of things that are larger than ourselves and our limited experiences as we travel through the ever changing flow of life. I like the peaceful essence of this scene as it evokes feelings that take me back to what is truly important and puts into perspective all the current distractions. Well done ~ Steve

What a good shot from a distance although I would have liked to see it up a little closer but I understand. It still looks great and make me think of the churches in my grandfather's hometown Alabama USA. Great job and thanks for sharing

I really like the country setting in this because of its serenity. It fives you the feeling of friends and family. Very nice dof, focus and clarity. Gives you a peaceful, easy feeling. Nice work and thanks for sharing. I did not watch the actually ceremony.
