I like your background very much. It looks the way I would picture the sky if an angel was falling. The highlights you've used on the body emphasized the contours well and you have nailed the position of the body to give a true falling appearance. The fine lines in the wings and shading capture the essence of feathers in a pleasantly delicate manner.

There is some grand power in the movement of this oil - great detail as well. Seems to be a powerful fall over the canvas. Great lighting and shading. Wonderful color as well. Thanks for sharing.

a very nice painting, jesuel,
as it is a well done piece of the angle falling from grace. as the clouds look greatwith different contrast distracting the eye a bit from your great painting of the angle falling. a very nice one to view. thank you for sharing.

There's a bit less definition than I am used to seeing in your pieces here. Was that planned on your part?? I actually think I like it in this piece....you've definitely achieved an almost swirly sense....as if the angel is actually drifting down through the abyss. Shading work - especially on the body is excellent and the almost gossamer look about the wings is perfect. Upraised arms and hair going up adds to the feeling of falling.
You know jesuel- the more I've studied this the more I like it. I've decided you pained it exactly the way you wanted and that my initial assessment of it being less defined than your other pieces was simply wrong. I like this a lot and will look for your Heaven and Hell pieces soon.

Good use of light in this one. Definitely has the sense of a falling Angel.I like the way you gave the wings a damaged look, and left the viewer to wonder what happened. The clouds are ok and have a circular almost swirling feel.Nice job!

A wonderful rendition of a classic moment. The angle of the wings as he falls from Heaven and the way the hair flies upward gives a clear idea of how fast and uncontrolled his descent is.
