A beautiful photo of contrasts. I like the way you caught the reflecting sun on the buildings but across the canal you also caught the blues and shadows on the water, dock, and gondolas. To me you show a lot of great details and colors that make the photo especially interesting to the observer.

Thank you so much for the informative description. The composition is excellent. The dark blues and blacks of the foreground with the light on the building facades further back draw your eyes to the steeple and the sky. Great focus and lighting. Well done.

Great capture..The light coming in and hitting the top of the buildings is very dramatic. Excellent contrast with the shaded area in the foreground. Well focused and great depth of field and great composition.

the lighting on the buildings is quite nice and its very hard not to get a good photo of venice and although I quite like the viewpoint, think it needed a higher viewpoint to get a bit more of the grande canal in this..brian

An excellent photograph. I love the angle at which it was taken, showing the long waterway and the many buildings it passes. Really good job.

You've painted a rainbow across this canvas. The blues of the boat coversstart in the lower left foreground and escalate across the scene morphing into the reds and magenta's of the brick buildings in the background.
Very nice imagery, right on camera technique....B-)) Bob

Love the lighting and dof. like the composition, not the "usual" view point of the Rialto Bridge. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. Happycamper
