This is a very interesting shot. I have not seen this before either. The colors are great and your angle show the action well and frames the power lines in an attractive way. Adding patterns against the blue. The shot tells the story well. Very nice!

It was hard to find a place to take this shot where wires weren't in the shot. The terrain was rocky and hilly. Thanks for giving this image such a wonderful review! :o) Helvi

A great journalistic shot!
Sharply focused still motion capture.
Nice blurry propeller suggesting fast movement.
Visually soothing sky lends a perfect backdrop.
Good compositional elements required by the comp theme.
Impressive entry. Potential voters choice... Best of luck in the contest!

A wonderfully taking, nail bitingly closely taken photo of these highly skilled professionals - a really rare sight and captured with great clarity and detail given the circumstances - colours work nicely and the focus is good - great photograph.

Wow, he is a daredevil.
Nice capture of someone doing a job that requires nerves of steel.
Nice exposure, although maybe a lower shutter speed to make the rotors more blurry?
Good shot though

You're thinking exactly the way I did? You have to have nerves of steel for either of these jobs. A slight mistake can cause both workers their life. I'm glad you enjoyed the shot thank you for the wonderful review! :o) Helvi

this is absolutely unbelievable: I didn't even imagine that a helicopter can stay for several minutes perfectly still, without moving;
an excellent capture and obvious winner of the contest;

Nice moment. A little bit longer then the lens but still an amazing shot of something I have not seen either. There is a lot of detail in this including his life line. That is one scary job. Thanks for sharing.

I find it more remarkable that people actually do this than that you got this great shot of it. I love the way the wires frame the shot and the great colors. Best of luck in the contest.

Wow. This is some capture. The helicopter looks like an civilian version of the OH-58 used in the military. Those pilots were better than good. This scene had a very dramatic quality about it and gives the viewer a visceral reaction. That is what makes this shot special. Great job and best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve
