WOW....I am totally impressed. YOUR "giving it a try" was a total success. Concentrating on lines and shapes and colors is certainly what made this abstract photograph a creative and unusual piece of work. Those two salamander like creatures covered with flowers must be your aliens. They look as if they are slithering on their backsides. It is interesting you chose to make the center of the main flower a cut out square rather than a solid round....quite different; quite unique. The entire scene looks as if it is made out of different white circular candles....if not candles, then perhaps a form of wax. I find it totally fascinating.....what is even more fascinating is that I have created something with similar aspects....not the lizards but with the use of a brown colored glass Christmas ornament....It has the same depth and type of lines like yours does. I created it in December. Should I ever post it in the future, I will let you know then you will be able to see exactly what I mean and how similar yet different the two are.
I love the off white color towards the front and how it changes gradually towards light brown and even some streaks of red in certain parts. The circulars throughout with the smooth tops/edges and then in the center of your photo the peaks... not sharp but smooth as well. Your entire image is filled with smooth projections that go upward like mountain ranges if you will. Those two salamander images seem to be sparks of conversation starters. I really like what you created. You should create more..It just may be your new avenue of creative activity. Thanks so much for sharing.

An unusual and interesting picture the style of which I'm no expert on - but the colours are complex and blend nicely, great detail on the lizards and definitely an alien like feel to it - fascinating photo!

This is certainly worth looking into. Shapes with layers like contours on a map combined with whipped peaks. Calm vignetting leaving the details highlighted. I must say I would have liked the Geckos/Salamanders(cannot remember) to be a bit stronger. They are beautifully marked and deserve more presence. Of course just my little thoughts on this one. Still a very unusual work tho.

I think you created a superb representation of lines, shapes and colors. Your 'aliens' provide another layer of texture and interesting patterns with a flourish of color. The curves and shadows throughout this image create good depth and make for an attractive landscape. Very creative and well put together!

I really like the salamanders, I think that's what they are anyway. The are so creatively colorful. And then adding in the abstract designs makes it look like they are following through a maze. Thanks for sharing.
