Great shot of the blue surgeon. I really like how you were able to bring out his colors so clearly while fading everything else into the background. Great shot!

A fantastically clear and well timed underwater photo here, with amazing clarity and wonderful vivid colours of the Surgeonfish. It almost looks like a pro cartoon drawing until you realise it's a photograph! great photo, well done.

Great artist notes and information on these beautiful Surgeonfish. What a fascinating adventure and to be able to take photo too. Yes it's always the most beautifully ones that are most dangerous. I like that you can see through that clear water to the ocean's bottom. The fish is stunning and so is your photography good sharp focus with well defined details with vivid colors. Superb eye clarity. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing your adventures with us.

OMG!!! It's Dory. You have used the light well to capture this great photo. The colors of this fish are so bright and eye catching. It's nice how the rocks all look the same shade. Thanks for sharing.

Fred,
A beautiful underwater picture of the Blue Surgeon Fish bathed in sunlight filtering down from above through the water & with your flash we can see it in it's true colours. Beautiful profile composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

supergold - Wow, I am impressed. You are not afraid to stretch your shooting skills some.
The camera technique is superb. I would never have considered a flashlight as the main light source. Very ingenious of you.
DOF, composition and framing are excellent.
I love the color of the fish against the green of the ocean.
Impressive ... B-)) Bob
