Congratulations on your win, Christine! This is simply stunning in every way. The depth of colors between the red earth and the blue water and the nearing azure skies with the lavender clouds. The reflection of the bird and the distant mist and muted greens of the mountain all add to this story. The colors were the initial impact for me...and your play of light and shadows. But I love looking at the water that you have captured on the beach before it seeps into the sand. Perfectly framed Christine! Congratulations!!!

This is such an outstanding photo I cannot quit looking at it.....yikes....I have been here looking at it now for 14 minutes....unreal...I just got entranced and lost in it somewhere. It is superb in every aspect. The colors are sensational. You even managed to get some feathered friends in there which is a nice touch. Where you were standing in particular was the perfect place for you to be at that precise moment to get this lovely shot. AND I DO MEAN Lovely. It has all the bells and whistles to make it a winner. CONRATS to you. You can be proud of this one. Bravo bravo.....clap clap clap.

It was one of those magical moments when lighting is beautiful, the scenery and everything came together. It was the first time that I had been to this beach (Cape Woollami Beach, Philip Island, Australia) and I was mesmerized by it too.
