Just gorgeous! And what a lovely gift this will be for Juan! This pulled me into the depths of this welcoming pathway bidding to tug on memories....to hopscotch playfully across the beckoning shadows remembering all that life embraced us with as children. Lovely scenic with rich textures, natural tones and a sense of movement in the upper framing with the frenzied pencil/brushstroke styling.

Good initial impact. I remember as a young boy in Fresno California we had an alley in back of our home that was like this. Trash pickup and all kinds of vendors used to run up and down with great fresh foods.
This has the real feel of that alley. Like the foreground with the shadows of bushes. And the fences on both sides. Kind of worn but still in good shape. And the bushes on the outside of the fence that were seldom tended to. Good colors and nice lighting. And great depth of field,
A really good story image that speaks to yesterday.

What a wonderful gift for someone and wonderful memory to keepsake. I love your perspective on this one the path, the white fences, the silhouette of the bushes all draw you into this photography. Good camera techniques and nice is the angle of your shot and how you shot this lower to the ground. Have a great reunion and thanks for the good storytelling. I like how the pencil sketch has brought out all the blacks in this photo beautifully. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing!

I am sure Juan will love this gift, because it is a lovely little scene. I especially like that you have taken the photo from a child's point of view. For a child these fences will be tall, and they would probably not even pay attention to the houses behind the fences. Of course it is also great leading lines bringing the viewer into the composition.
Your photo is also nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in all the fences, and I also think the exposure is perfect. I like the long shadows across the street, and the fine effect your editing have brought out.
The photo is also nicely framed and I think it is a very good balance in the composition. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo and with an excellent DOF.
