Really strong initial impact. I love this little guy. I am sorry his expression says I am worried and not very comfortable today. I wonder where his other family members are?
Good capture of the details. Everything is clear and sharp. The colors are sharp and crisp. I guess that must be his hole that he is sitting next to.
He looks like he would be a great pet to have at home in my family room sitting next to me while I am reading.
I like this story image a lot. Well done.

This little fox is truly sweet Willie, and I think you have pictured it so well. I especially like the way it is looking at you when the photo was taken, and it is of course also standing out well against the green grass.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the little face. It is nothing wrong with the exposure either.
The fox has got a good placement off to the right, but I think it is a bit too much of the grass as a foreground. Since the bottom part also is slightly blurred I would personally cropped much more. Still this is an all together lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you so much! This den was in someones front yard. I hated the clean grass all around but that is the way it was.
