Oh a huge congratulations Seshadri!
This piece got my vote. Besides it being my very favorite red color I really liked the moon, mist, shadows and reflection but best of all was the feeling it evoked....being outside among the trees during the evening...after it had rained.
Just a wonderful piece and I am so happy for you that it did so well in the Open competition. Good for you!!

I like different and this one qualifies. It is so difficult to think of original ideas sometimes but this one is a great example of what artist can do. Great job.

Absolutely breathtaking piece!The colors are striking, the composition is awesome and just draws you into the picture. The mustiness at the back is intriguing and the triangle of light gray at the left is just perfect. Awesome, awesome work!!

Oh my what a dramatic sunrise with all the warm reddish and pinkish cast from the sun. Your colors so dramatic in the red and black. You can hear the stillness and quietness in the scene. Beautiful area in this morning light with a excellent composition, grand reflection and movement in this scene. A creative and talented art work. A dark and compelling scene, yet not the least bit menacing or threatening as such photos usually are. Fog wafting through trees on a late, late Thats what I see. Very nice work.

This is a lovely shot of the bird! You have framed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

you should give some competition to others in the Open Challenge contest.
I liked the positioning and the results of placement of the sun in the reflection pool. The softness it added. In fact
you could cut the entire pool area out as a stand alone, flip it and fog it little more it would look liked a fire or fog scene, in the woods. Hope you don't mind my ramblings.

Very cool. The use of light here is phenomenal going from bright to very dark. All done perfectly both above and in the reflection and to achieve depth and perspective. Composed so well it tends to lead the viewer into to merky most dark places. Great job and good luck.

Great composition, deep and eerie. Foggy path on a distance create the imagination of the nice walk between the woods. The late sun is trapped between branches, and whimsical reflections are playing in the water. Thanks for sharing
