Wow! I really like how the lines appear to cross evenly from side to side with your framing. It almost looks like some software effect has been added but I know it is just the nature of the canyon formations. It just looks really cool from this angle :) The light and shadows are great together.

I'm not surprised that this has received the all time best award. The colours are superb, and enable us to clearly see the rock strata so clearly, that they look like an overlaid texture. Well done!

this is a wonderful capture of the Grand Canyon nik: sharp focus with fantastic dof and clarity, withhout a harsh contrast as in many pics; nice natural colors;

I live 150 miles from the Canyon and your image is just as breathtaking! Excellent angle from South Rim, revealing all the earth tone colors of strata. Enjoy the light and shadow areas along with the depth. Very well framed and Thank You for sharing.

Photographs like this are hard to review as it shows such a spectacular and breathtaking scene I don't feel I have the knowledge and capability to break it down. I'll do my best; great long DOF from a great POV, incredible detail and clarity of the rocks that are set out almost in formation, with an almost illustrated fantasy depth and detail the likes of which I have never seen. A shot of one of the world's most amazing spectacles is one to saviour and behold; and you have done a great job capturing this. :)

Photographs like this are hard to review as it shows such a spectacular and breathtaking scene I don't feel I have the knowledge and capability to break it down. A photo never does the Grand Canyon true justice, but yours succeeds better than most! I like the dark shadows in the middle and the distance you have created between the foreground the background. Beautiful colors.

Because of the raw beauty and magnitude of the Grand Canyon (which I once flew through in a military helicopter), it's almost impossible not to conjure an excellent photograph thereof. Very well done and thank you for sharing.

This photo is amazing. The vastness of the canyon speaks for itself. The coolness of the bluish hues helps tone down the warmth of the climate in which this is set. Also great how you were able to photograph this and not have any man made elements.
