WOW! This is really a pretty photo. I see these at my home. I guess they are all over the world. I know what you mean about the wings, as I have tried so many times to capture them open but have failed.

A fantastic shot of this delicate looking, beautiful butterfly, with great shades of green and yellow visible on the wings and excellent clarity showing clearly it's little face and body in great detail. Good DOF shows the white flowers it has chosen to rest upon well and also gives good perspective. The oil painting filter adds that extra depth and detail to top off this lovely piece, great work and well done :)

Wow! Simply wow! I've been away from FAR for almost two years but love coming back to such amazing images as this one,Ann.

The butterfly is so incredibly sharp and the blends of greens and yellows offset by the white flowers is stunning. The vignette really sets the subject up nicely.

What great focus and detail. The composition is excellent and the subject is razor sharp.

I like the shallow depth of field and the background which is a great backup for the subject. It separates well from the subject and does not compete for attention but does it's job nicely.

The butterfly is presented well and it is a fun story.

a wonderful macro capture of I think a sulphur butterfly (Phoebis sennae);
