I remember visiting Holland and bring home such beautiful bulbs to plant at home. The memories are of this fantastic display of colors and textures and fantastic arrangements. What a sight for everyone to see. Thanks and much good luck.

Glorious color here...and framed so nicely getting as many rows as possible into your photo. It's well exposed w/ nice focus and all those colors presented perfectly. I would think I was in heaven in a place like this...lol

Glorious color here...and framed so nicely getting as many rows as possible into your photo. It's well exposed w/ nice focus and all those colors presented perfectly. I would think I was in heaven in a place like this...lol

This is absolutely a perfect entry for this contest! The percentage of the frame used for flowers could be calculated very mathematically using geometry. Ha! And a stunning capture by you. I too am taken by the quilt of colors used in this field. I find it very artistic and very, very beautiful. I love tulips. Excellent use of those row lines in your from...almost as rays of tulips. I think this is a really fine entry for a contest like this, because it is indeed a lot of fine tulips to be seen here. I especially like the perspective creating such fine leading lines bringing the viewer into the composition.
Your photo is also nice and sharp showing clear details, and also the exposure is spot on. I also appreciate the crisp and clear colors.
The square format you have cropped this photo into works really well, and it is a very fine balance in the composition. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

What a beautiful & colourful display of Tulips in this Dutch Field...obviously this Farmer was also an artist with imagination & a love of colour combinations. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
