This tea cup is truly lovely with the yellow colors and the flowers, and you have pictured it so well. A simple but very nice still life. The background could however have been better, but since it is nicely softened the cup is still standing out well. A good advice is to always set the item you wish to photograph against a neutral background, like a wall.
Your focus is however nice and sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the cup. I also think the exposure is very good.
The format and the framing is working well, and in this case it look good with the cup and saucer centered. An all together lovely and well taken photo with a good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
