Now this is what I think of when I think of a still life photo. Several images compositionally placed with both highlight and shadow influences. Thus far - from what I've seen... This is the top contender. A nicely achieved image, cropped and presented with balance and flare for professionalism. Kathy

I like how this still life is composed. The combination of old porcelain, a fully opened rose and a paper napkin is as interesting as the positioning of the objects in a square. The background works, but I am not happy with the light. The glaring white and gold spots at the plaid, the cup and the saucer seem distracting to me and make the saucer look disconnected from the table in my opinion.

I like how this still life is composed. The combination of old porcelain, a fully opened rose and a paper napkin is as interesting as the positioning of the objects in a square. The background works, but I am not happy with the light. This is a gorgeous porcelain dinnerware set. The rose serves to round out the theme of the photograph. I like the topaz lens effect that you incorporated as well. Also, you did well to maintain the temporal integrity of this work by incorporating an antique-looking background.

I absolutely love this photo. This looks like a print one might find in a store in the for a kitchen or dining room picture to hang... the overall clarity and lighting are perfect. The details seen in the prints of the china are magnificent. Great editing as well!

I love the background it goes nicely with the plate.
