MAGNIFICENT capture Steve!
I would empty the sky of stars and place them here for your message.
I am very tired of the FAROPOLY game here. Paying People to view work on an Photography/Art site.
We went to a Bull Riding event yesterday to help them raise money for the Cattle Ranchers in Texas. Before the event, they asked us to stand, bow our heads and the announcer of the event prayed for all in Texas and for the incoming Hurricane Irma heading our way. He ended the prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.
My brother and I have never been at a public event where they prayed first ...mentioned God or Christ....then sang the national anthem.
It was moving to be in a crowd of farmers/ranchers who believe in God and the USA.
I love your photo and mixed media enhancements..but I love your message more.
Well done Bud :)

Thank you so much Sandra. I agree with your comments about Praying First, acknowledging that fact that we are only here because HE is not finished with us yet. As far as the FAROPOLY, I have never pushed a photo to the top place before. This one was pushed up there by someone who gave me like 8 or nine member cent pumps. I was stunned. She just said it needed to be pushed up there to share with everyone. I mean, what do you do with that? I am going to send it to her as a thank you and said she could have anything in my portfolio she wanted. I know I have said the same to you. And the message with the photo: While I was working on it and just staring at it, And after three classes of wine at two in the morning, It just came out. I am Not the author of the words, I simply wrote them down as they came. So the scene and commentary is all HIS work, not mine. I Really like to watch HIM at work ~ Steve PS You know, It always seems to take a disaster to bring us back to the Perspective of what is Truly Important. Praying that Irma is a Nice Girl and Not a Trouble Maker (like Sparkle).

My comment was not about your work or anyone's for that matter. I Promote others work daily here including yours. My comment is on Far and the game of Faropoly we must play.
I review for 2 cents daily, because I believe in the work not the game here.
Irma they claim is as bad as Harvey..so.. we are praying and packing...
My work gets Promoted by Kbanick, Envision and Eileen.
I have a few good true loyal friends here.
But Far would have less green eyes monsters lurking about if the Faropoly fake coin went away.

Wow! This is a stunning and magnificent scene with beautifully written artist notes bringing home what should be most important in our hearts. The magnitude and presents of God is here in this dynamic scene. Your camera skills and post-processing work is incredible....but more importantly you get what's even more important and you make the rest of us stop and take notice. Excellent stop action with the crashing of waves on the rocks with the beautiful white captures. Your choice of black and white makes this a powerful scene with a good tonal rang. Outstanding work and composition and nice movement in your scene. Thanks for sharing your talented with us.

Beautiful image and compelling thought. I love that you used the muted tones it creates a sense of calm. The ocean seems to bring us to the brink of understanding that we are but a drop in a sea, our identity is muted and then we can sense the immense universe.

Stunning depiction of the notes you offered. God is in control and the power of the sea is representative of His power. The b/w rendition is stunning and works well with the textures and action. The night sky laced with thin layers of clouds gives the moon a soft peaceful feel. Love it.

If only more people could grasp the reality rather than being lost and carried away by self absorption.
I think the black and white format brings out the shadows and textures of the rocks in the landscape very nicely. The sky has a subtle drama that matches the dramatic nature of the crashing waves. I like the silver appearance of the water surface in the background too.

Some interesting ideas and thoughts presented here in your intro to your photo. Looks like you have got a really basic nature shot here. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Great shot!

Steve,
A dramatic and very beautiful coastal scene. The incoming tide lashing the rocks scattered along the shore the wind whistling in my ears, the spray felt on my cheeks & the taste of salt on my lips while the moon plays games with the racing clouds lighting up the rocks in the foreground while it dances on the ripples & waves on the sea. Artistic composition beautiful framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
