It is a nice view. I like the perspective especially. The colors of the background are nice, but I find the shades of blue on the grass and in the water a bit too vivid. I like the idea of the two sentinels, but would have placed them of center, either to the right or the left.

This is lovely! The two lone trees do appear to be standing guard over something. Your use of color is appropriate and they each compliment each other. :-)

This is a very beautiful idyllic scene which seems at first glance to be of desolation but quite the contrary on a second look. It looks very serene and peaceful as if it's just as it is meant to be. Excellent brushwork! R

Very realistic view of the a serene landscape. The rocks do add a naturalness to the environment and adds warmth by way of summer hues. Though the trees are dead they look like survivors who are determined to stand tall with the help of each other. Very effective brush strokes. The sunset is subtly beckoning the viewer to come closer across the plains. Very artistic use of color and staging. All the best to you for the contest!
