Hmmm. Maybe I need to commission one where I have hair. Been a long time. Maybe a pony tail would look good. Never had one before and not it just aint gonna happen. Oh well. Great commission work here mark ~ Steve

very nationalistic and traditional. And as you said, money talks with the stars and stripes flying behind him-I can see six stars. Doesn't look very traditional, looks like he is dressed up, but what do I know, love the shine on his nose . Great pic

I like this one a lot! I love the subject, the colors, the framing and the light and shadows that you have created. Now you know I must always call attention to some part of your work that I marvel at. Most often it is how you create skin tones. And this is no exception...with that blush on his cheek. If I tried that with a sharpie it would be one pink circle. Also the areas of white...that you had to leave open.. Beautiful, clean, some shading in the shirt and that bit appearing at the collar..and placement of the stars...all speak "this guy is a true artist"...to me. I won't go into the blonde hair..but that is a whole 'other area of study! Awesome!

ok ill blow your mind..there is no pink color sharpie or bic markers used in the skin tone.there is usually 4 to 7 different colors blended in but no pink was used..wink..start with your light colors 1st that you want to for highlights. then progress to your darker colors in shading. wink wink. thanks for the great review.

My memory goes almost all the way back to the colonial times. This fashion and hair is very realistic but I can't recall eye glasses like these until the middle of last century.
