As a non artist your description of how you created this really reminded me of how little I know about and drawing. Your keen insight and 'feel' for things is a gift that is not available to many. I like the colors that you used for the models and for the background as they are both complimentary and accent each other at the same time. Great work here Carl. A cyber 6 ~ Steve

Very good painting of two young ladies with great attention to details. Good skin tones and nice blue background. I like their similar facial expressions as if they have just noticed the viewer, perhaps interrupting a conversation. :) Good composition with relaxed and comfortable body language. Very neutral color scheme. The bodies of the women are well formed. You did bring out something in their faces. I especially like the blonde hair, very detailed. I did notice they were both the same length. Was that intended? I personally like fuller breasts in nudes but you did a terrific job on both of them. Im glad you have so many awards and recognitions. Hopefully many more!

Per your narrative, I think you have achieved your goal.
The brushwork is quite nice as it gives a softness and glow to the piece.
I also like the relatively plane background.
My one comment is that the model of the right, her nose seems a little off. I am not sure why. It could be the highlighting and secondary shadow.

Thank you for your comments and five star vote. Yes I had problems with her nose. I decided to let the proportion measurements dominate my decision. I will take another look at the secondary shadow. I appreciate your nose comment.
