I like this. Everything is perfect. Nicely framed. Good POV. Good DOF. Focus is perfect. Colors are bold, but not out of balance. Wow. Best of luck and thank you for sharing.

Wonderful title you've given your piece....and such an old fashioned looking train....very cool. Obviously a perfect entrant for this contest.

I imagine it was a bit tricky getting this shot w/ the train moving. Nice detail in upper part of train but had a bit of trouble w/ detail where train meets tracks.....while tracks themselves are very well presented. Colors are nice and natural throughout....your engineers yellow shirt a bit over exposed.

A nice image nevertheless w/ a few minor technical issues. Best of luck w/ it in the contest!

I have been studying this one for awhile now and have made up my mind. The light enhancement in the center of this picture reminds me of the old tin type photos. It focuses the viewer onto the subject matter of the photo in that old fashioned quaint manner. Nice light bleed on the rails in front of the train. The yellow shirt adds specific focal interest and the two train head lights enhances eye movement within the picture. An overall nice picture evoking the nostalgia of the time when trains ruled the world. Reasons for my five vote.

Pretty cool. The angle of the shot of this locomotive with dude on it is great. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The image is balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

I wish I had a six star rating to put on your glorious photo. It truly deserves it. Look at what you have done. You have created an image of a train that seems to be exploding from the trees, and a brave conductor standing bravely to guide the train. I don't know, but this is truly exceptional.

Love the coloring in this scene. I like the mystery as to why that man appears to be holding a an object.. Gun?

Effective use of the sun and shade.

Well done!

Nice to have the human interest in the shit as well as the train. Lights on the train help. The lighting looks good. Well done and good luck for the competition :-)

Aptly captured for the comp!

A great story telling factor.

Fine details, features & textures.
Verdant overtone softened the massive steel structure somehow!

Thanks & god luck!
