A wonderful view of the interior of this grand old building, not much given away by the author!! hehe. It shows a not often heard of or documented aspect of Australia's culture here which is the older architecture, not too different from ours by the looks of it and the period roughly (although I'm no expert!), and is beautifully ornate and well structured. The positioning of the shot is great, with bright lighting, good long DOF and sharp clarity coming together to show the well detailed walls in a yellow, cream and brown coloured arch, with a long corridor directly opposite that is quite a grand lobby - I'm guessing this building is of some importance and historical relevance!! great designs on the pointed beams that meet in the middle on the ceiling, underneath which identical windows again with intricate design that each have a small ledge look down upon what must be a circle in the middle of this shiny, marbled reception area, supported by strong and neatly chiseled pillars of marble as well (or something similar), with a lovely clock in roman numerals above the corridor to top the piece off. Overall a very splendid and lavish building, finely crafted in each way. A great shot and best of luck in the competition! :)

We don't look up enough and someone recommended me to do so and since then my eyes have come alive with the array of shapes and structures and colours that adorn our buildings , internally and externally. Here you have shared an example of this ,unfortunately the sculptures and carvers are a dying breed and they will be sorely missed
