I rarely see the things people see in clouds or in lichens either. What I see is a most unusual fungal formation with great colors. Best of luck in the contest.

Well you have created quite an abstract work with the capture. I like your interest and vision to capture such a difficult object and give it interest and/or some purpose in your frame. I believe you have done that not only with your colors but with your choice in framing. The longer stem on the left gives your fungus scale. And the mossy edges are just enough to clarify the scene even more...as more of us have seen that more common type.
Colors and clarity are very good. The white in this fungus is unique and you have done a fine job controlling the balance. It is not flashing reflections or blowout in the middle of the greens and reds. Nice work.. This fungus is full of macro interest I imagine! Wow! A very interesting discovery! Thanks for sharing!

A great shot of this beautiful and exotic funghi, with fantastic bright colours of green, red and white that are captured in good lighting and stand out boldly in this large patch of fungus on the rock. Great clarity and DOF captures the real intricate detail and fascinating textures and shapes that makes it up - I see the face too!! A great entry for the competition and best of luck! :)

What a beautifully looking kind of exotic life form this is. Appears as something out of the depths of a deep open Ocean trench! Must be a early evolutionary form of life that only grows so prolific and diversity in this part of the world; So interesting. Thank You for sharing.
