Very nice contest entry. It looks like a painting. I love the title of the photograph as it brings humor to the scene. The composition works well with the angle of the bird in the air and the woman standing in the waves. Good storytelling in this scene as it is a pleasure to look at.

This was taken with an iPhone and cropped. I did not use a paint or photoshop ad I don?t know how to use either of those programs. Thanks for reviewing and for your generous rating.

A suitable entry for the contest. Horizon is level and the colors of the ocean are nicely done. In the large photo the Gull is a bit washed out/too bright and could use a bit more detail. The small photo looks better. Not sure which will appear in the contest, hopefully the small image. A nice capture of the gull in the air. Best of luck in the contest ~ Steve

Thanks so much. I tried to straighten the horizon line. Don?t know how it got skewed. The change isn?t showing in my computer so I?ll have to wait. Thanks for reviewing so generously.

really great picture. very well captured. shame the lady is not more to the right, as it could have been straightened (so level horizon) but it has a nice fresh vibe and bird looks great.

Looks like a great day for the beach. I love how you caught the seagull so close making him appear huge. Focus seems to be kind of fuzzy and you definitely need to straighten your horizon. But I like the nice colors and lighting which are very appealing. Good luck in the contest.
