I like how you see yourself a a paining. Very vibrant and colorful. The images show you as being special and unique.
I also have a self-portrait here in my portfolio, as a cat. I like yours though because its in color. Mine is just in pencil.

I can't offer much in the way of criticism, but I adore this whimsical style. I'm not sure if it was deliberate to leave the canvas very plain against the busyness of the patchwork, but I love the contrast of it. It feels meaningful while simultaneously grounding the work.

Thank you so much for your splendid review. I left the canvas plain because it is the back of the canvas. You are only seeing the edge that extends beyond the easel support. And thank you, I was going for whimsy.
