on one of my trips to USA to a poets convention, I met a lady from Chicago, who proudly told me she was probably the last of some Indian tribe and wrote a book about her tribe. Sadly I lent it to man there and he did not return it. She has since passed away. May this be in her glory..

Man, I hope you win! I love that it is Native American, and a woman! This stands up for women and all Native Americans. Thank you, so much for drawing this.
Your lines are great, shading is cool! Details of the headdress is beyond awesome!

Wow what a headress on her! Love all your detail on the feathers and beads. You've made her hair look so real. Nice shading and presentation. This would be exciting in color. Nice job!

OK. Let me just say that this is true art. Everything about your work here screams authenticity. The stern look upon the face of this maiden. The feathers on her head. Let me just say that I was prevalent during the years of protest.

Very nicely done. I like that fact that you used an Indian maiden as apposed to a standard cowboy. That is the Real Story of the West. Very dramatic image here Raoul. A great entry for the contest. Best of fortune ~ Steve
