This is indeed a beautiful flowers with all the small white blossoms, and I like the way it is bending down to the right bottom corner. I also think the background is truly lovely and when nicely softened like this, the flower is standing out in an excellent way.

Your photo is also very sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every blossom. I also think the exposure is spot on.

The way you have cropped the photo works so well and the flower has got a perfect placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Deborah, and with an excellent DOF.

They all bend like this AV. It really makes for an interesting bed in my gardens but it's only when you look close that you can see what a pretty little blossom it is. Anyway, thank you so much for such a wonderful (and always so well done up) review and a gold star. Made my evening AV!

LOL I wondered if anyone would pick up on my rather unusual description of this flower sg. I should have known that YOUR eagle eye would catch it. Good for you! Thank you so much for having a look ....for the wonderful review and especially for your thoughts re: my notes. I DO appreciate that.

Deborah,
A beautiful picture of the Lysimachia or Goose neck flower head curving beautifully earning it's common name. The soft blurred green in the background provide the perfect backdrop to the white star like flowers. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus,
Susan

Very lovely capture of this Gooseneck flower. The notes that you have attached are very informative as I learned about this beautiful plant. The bent shape of the plant works so lovely for the composition. The opened flowers that gradually go to closed leads your eyes to the main flowers. Lovely green background highlights the Gooseneck perfectly. Thanks for sharing this wonderful photograph.

This flower has often been maligned Karen b/c of it's invasive tendencies so I am very pleased to have shown it well and do appreciate your lovely review of it very much. ....and glad you found the notes interesting and informative. Thank you so much.

This is really quite lovely. The detail of the open flowers lets us see the stamen inside very clearly. And the other closed buds make the nice arch that you describe as the gooseneck. All against the beautiful greenery in the background. Good work.

Beautiful arc that you captured this loosestrife in.
Your detail is incredible and
clarity is outstanding especially in the smaller buds. I wish the single blooms were a bit more focused, the ones furthest to the left but still does not take away from the overall beauty of this shot.
Great job Deb, and in the light! lol

ahahahha...see Marsha. I DO actually know how to use my camera in daylight! You know I agree that I would have also preferred to have those few petals at the left as sharp as the rest so you are just a doll for giving it such a wonderful review and shiny gold star despite them. Thank you so much. I do really appreciate this.
