Thank you for you critical review. The upper part is there for balance of color and space. The empty, but darker blue sky contradict the lighter colors below and the business at the beach.

What more beautiful place to dream of than water and sky that goes as far as the eye can see. I almost feel the freedom, serenity and complete calm as the waves rush in to bring new shells to explore. This is definitely a wonderful shot of this open space, so sharp and perfect. Thank you very much for your kind review. To shoot in this angle I have to lay on my belly and put the camera on the ground. This is dangerous because sand could get inside the camera and sandflies attack the camera and the photographer.

This is a photograph full of interest.
Could almost be two photographs of the sky and beach .

I love the beach most of all but,the sky really come in and captures the whole scene.
just takes your eye between the big bold sky and then those lovely little shells .

Interesting angle and I think that this works well here. I like the DOF and focus that you have got. The top third (blue part) of the sky is uninteresting and I would be tempted to crop for more of a pano type image. The top adds nothing to the image in my opinion. Colours look really good. Well done and good luck with the competition :-)

Thank you very much for your critical review. The dark blue part of the sky was intentional. In my concept of the composition it is there to emphasize and contradict the lower busy third with the shells. I will think abut your suggestion, but a crop of the blue sky part would cause that the interest of the viewers is lead to the clouds and therefore divided between clouds and shells.

interesting beach scene. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the seashells, water and skyview is great the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
