I think this one has it all.
The roses are beautifully colored and the light and shadow in them is just
Stunning. The detail in the leaves is magnificent showing all of the veining. I really like the two toned background which blends perfectly together. What I really think is well done is the position of the roses on a slight diagonal and these being opposite of the slight diagnol of the dark green background. They form a lovely X which centers the photo perfectly and adds character to your work. Finally the vintage look of these beautiful flowers is a rare appearance and is really brought out by the ruffled appearance of the furthest petals. Remarkable and exquisite work of art. I really wish I knew how you did this.
Beautiful and a real pleasure to view Annie.

Annie your ivory roses are so beautiful and pure.

Your technique to flip them and add your special effects is just marvelous.

Colors are beautiful and the whites perfectly held.

Great work.

Stunning. Beautiful layering work here, Annie. The faded ivy background compliments the roses and their own leaves perfectly. Exquisite and nuanced light and shadows. Has a very appealing vintage look all ready to be a greeting card. Great job!

You should design vintage jewellery. Those roses indeed look like carved from Ivory, the green leaves like emailed metal. The whole looks like a vintage print. It is a look way back in time which is emphasizes by the limitation of colors.

Very beautiful photograph of these two lovely roses. The colors are all soft and harmonize well together. The composition is framed well. Lots of detail in the roses. Overall this is an aesthetically pleasing work of art.

A very nice and subtle nature shot presented here! Your full and central composition gives us lots to look at and admire. Like the gentle tones and shades of colour. Nicely done!

Okay, a total 6 this! If I could give it a 7, I would. This is such an amazing photo and mixed media piece.
The way you did the background, this could be a museum piece featuring 19th century still-lifes or nature scenes. Its an amazing photo.
It has a 3d quality that literally reaches out to the viewer from the page. Great work!

Stunning, Elegant, Esquisite and oh so Loverly Cara!
I too love the vintage look and the scalloped liked petal edges.
Focus, use of light and soft reflective shadows are superb here.
The Annie touch once again makes this a stunner.
Fine work behind your lens as well as in the digital darkroom.
Lovely work Cara!! :)

I can spot your works immediately upon opening. I know I have said that before yet it is true. You have that magical after photo touch that simply 'Transforms' the subject into a subtly artistic scene. I lobe the elegant and yet sublime textures and colors. So well done Annie ~ Steve

BTW, you mentioned that you used layering. What is that and how did you do it in this scene?
