This is a cool illustration of a lion's head up close. The texture is done well with the many varying tones of browns and oranges. The detail in the fur is good. The composition and close framing work well for this artwork.

Wonderful. I love the grand movement over the frame of those pencil strokes. Great natural color over this fellow as well. Almost a sixer for me - I personally need detail in the left mouth area... that gives me perfection - sooo close. Thanks so much for sharing such joyful creativity!!!

I've owned cats for 40 years so I know something about feline expressions, and your lion's portrait is magnificent. The eyes are gorgeous and don't look threatening. The fur and whiskers have great texture. This belongs in a children's book. I hope you can sell it somewhere.
