How timely mark. I just discovered someone blocked me. Have no idea why. I do not recall seeing or reviewing any of his posts. I guess this is just one of those things. But everything you say is correct. Newbies need to remember that the high and low ratings are tossed out. I hope all will read this and think twice about blocking someone. The ONLY People I would Consider blocking is a person who was once a member of the 2/1 FA. ; ) Good show Redleg ~ Top

I have never understood why one would want to block out opinions. Healthy discourse only follows when opinions are offered freely and sincerely. I really dislike the politics of division where it always comes down to "us against them"; in my reviews I always strive for a positive attitude. If I can't think of something I like (as well as the things I don't) I just pass on the review.

The emotion and expression on these guys tells it all. The colors are great and yous message is better.
I am only 14 and I love reviews, the only way I would block someone is if they were being a pervert and my mom would go nuts on them.

Still, I lived through hellish reviews in school were professors regularly drew all over beautiful drawings with red ink or stepped upon models. I learned that nothing is precious in school.
And the professors were sadistic.
However, I did learn from them, as everyone has a tidbit to add.
Anyway, there is no way anyone on this site could rival that experience.
So, blocking is a mute point.
By the way, I like your piece. Purple and black is always cool!

sounds vicious. course i never got lucky to pursue the college thing. when i was a teenager i was accepted in Memphis Academy of Commercial Art but my family didnt have the money to put in college so i joined the army for college benefits. like life i fell in love got married and had kids when i got out. the realist thing is only a few handful artist make any real money. so i went into management to support my children. i still worked with my sharpies and bic thru the decades and finally when my last child left the home and the wife traded me in for a Doctor, i was free to fully pursue my love. that was a lil over a decade ago and im still plugging at it. you know the only time in high school the ever offered a art class turned out to be art history. no drawing..just history. i was pissed bit i aced it. my last few years in high school i was on annual staff, newspaper staff and did the programs for the basketball tournaments. everything i have done with my sharpies and bics i had to learn on my own thru trial and error. so really if i had a professor like you described i probably wouldnt have pass. i would have told him to go screw himself. hey its in my nature..wink wink..thanks for the great review.

Yeah, some of my professors really sucked.
I actually worked full time and out myself through college, so I feel ya!
And I met some of the dumbest people ever whilst attending the university. I also met some of the most brilliant, like they aced calculus in the 3rd grade type of brilliant.
It?s definitely a crap shoot.
What I loved the most was seeing other students approaches to art and architecture assignments.
Learned a lot in that regards.
Well, keep on keeping on as they say!
