It seems like this beautiful tiger has worn himself a path in the snow. A fine shot although I would crop some more of the back end off as well as most of the snow on both sides. Beautiful colors and great details. Best of luck in the contest.

Wow! Thank you for entering my contest! Your tiger (my favorite wild mammal) is just marvelous in every detail. The fur detail is outstanding, especially the distinctive patterns on the head. The snow is an ideal background. I predict you will get many rave reviews for your superb photo, and I agree that seeing wild animals in the wild is preferable to zoos, but zoos serve an important purpose in allowing us to see an animal we would normally never get to see in his own environment.
