a striking image of the knight Templar against the dark black back ground, I think this is a very good depiction of one of these religious crusaders, ( I like reading books about them) great detail , strong emotion,

Very nice pastel drawing. I used to lots of pastel work, but not lately. I'll have to start as I do remember it being a fun medium. Love the stance of this guy with his sword. He is looking down as if he is honoring someone. Nice detail in the clothing as you can almost feel the softness. Great job.

I can't for the new series on history channel. It is to be done like the Vikings series. Awesome creation. The details is excellent. The shading is excellent. The facial expression is priceless. The body form and language is excellent. The depth is excellent. The blend of color is excellent. A brilliant pastel rendition of a Knight Templar, dressed in full gear and very much looking the part, including the rather haggard and worn out look as though tired from battle. The colours are carefully chosen and arranged, and suit the title and piece very well - the chain mail is brilliantly and neatly drawn whilst the robes have a realistic mixture of shades and colours of fibre associated with this kind of clothing and era. The long, bloodstained sword says it all - and the proportions and form of the knight are well drawn also and accurate. The subject is accentuated by the dark background further, altogether making a great composition - great work, well done :)
