Great entry for this Fur on a living animal contest.
You did an excellent job with focus and eye clarity. My guess is you had to shooting through glass which is a challenge. His fur detail is thick and looks warm and toasty!
I like the monochromatic like colors wondering how this would look in black and white choosing selective color on just his eyes.

Wonderful shot of this beautiful animal. Love the framing created by the rocks and twigs. Beautiful focus and exposure. Loving the light, look what it has done to those beautiful eyes. I wonder with it being quite monotone how it might look in black and white. It might really pull out all of the texture in that fur?
