Aptly captured for the contest theme...
Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
Fantabulous rendition.
Controlled illumination.
Synergistic modification.
Thanks & good luck at the polls!

Nice photograph. I thought it was a painting at first. It has that imagination that a painter would give it. Nice job. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest

A nicely composed and well presented piece displaying this state flower, I thought it deserved recognised status so I'd give it that one more review, plus the clarity of the flower itself is great, showing it in it's natural form, with a few blemishes and not the perfect golden flower we often see in photographs, but the flower that it is nonetheless. The shapes & veins of the petals are seen in good detail and the centre of the flower contrasts nicely and shows good detail also. The addition the Kansas badge or whatever it is called there in the US is nice and is positioned well behind the flower that protrudes from its green stem from the left - and the faded yellow of the cloned flower makes a good background to the right, and the black a good one to the left, which contrasts and accentuates the piece further. Great piece and best of luck in the competition! :)

I would like to thank you for your artist's notes. I looked up Kansas to learn more and the name comes from Kansa which the original people of your land called it.
I really love the treatment with zoom and drop shadows...it is reminiscent of another artist's work that I admire on this site.
Your colours are beautiful and you do know that yellow is one of the hardest colours to photograph as it tends to bleed easily. You have nailed it. The exposure is really well done too. The plaque is clear to read and to see the drawings...sharp through and through.
A strong, educational upload. Thank you.
