What a beautiful creature. I so love animals of all types. Your rendering is beautiful. I love that you added leaves changing colors in the foreground. Acting as a liwer frame. Great job. Happy New Year 2018. Blessings, Cindy Sue.

I like this drawing of your handsome subject. The enlarging for FAR I presume is what causes the kind of weird appearance in the larger display so I went to the smaller one and like it better. I like the instance stare he is giving, speaks volumes. Well done and thanks for posting.

How interesting....I've never heard of using a white out pen for highlighting before. Good idea though. This is a nice entrant for this contest!
I really like the up close and tight presentation. You have lots of good detail in the guy's face and head. Good color too and appreciate your methods section showing how you created this piece.
I'm not sure if there was a problem w/ the upload but face especially has a pixelated look. Did you see that?? If you re-upload you may be able to get rid of that. Let me know if you do and I will happily give it back the 1/2 point deduction.
Best of luck in the contest!

Beautiful drawing! Love the detail in the wrinkles and fur to give such a realistic texture. You definitely captured the dog's personality well!

I see a lot of work in this portrait and the character of the dog is definitely there :) The folders of his skin and smart eyes expressed in the right colors, and look naturally. Thanks for sharing.

A beautifully drawn portrait of this Bull Dog character written all over his face & poor cropped ears done so they stand up I points rather than fop down as nature made them. Crated with very skilful draftsmanship, beautiful choice & blending of your colours.

I love the scrunchiness of his face...those skin folds have been well drawn.
I am reviewing from small thumbnail. You might want to re-upload a better version as the large version is very pixellated....you can do that if you go back to the photo...look in the upper L hand corner and you will see EDIT...then you can re-upload a better quality (make sure you follow FAR guidelines) then don't forget to press SAVE.
I think you really caught the personality of this wee beastie and his eyes are sparkling. Great work.
