Thank you so very much! I don't know how long he has been growing his bear, but I am sure it took years.

A brilliant character to come across for this competition, and more so capture with this fantastic facial expression and smile, somebody who clearly has many a story to tell if he so wished (his name nickname gives it away a bit, although it does suggest bad luck!). A wonderful heartfelt smile that shines throughout his whole face caught in good lighting and with great clarity, and a fantastic, long silver beard and long hair that suits him down to the ground, topped off with the matching hat. Great clarity and clear lighting show the details and shape of his face well, and the timing is brilliant. An excellent portrait/close up that really captures the character of Disaster Doug, I'm sure he was a fascinating and lovely chap! best of luck in the polls!! :)

A fine portrait which is well composed and beautifully lit. I like his beard especially. While his laughter is sincere I think I prefer the previous shot better.

Another great portrait of Doug, having a good laugh by the look of it. I will make this a short review Willie, because everything is working. Still it is the use of light I especially notice.
Well composed as well and a great looking and well taken portrait. I wish you luck with the contest.
