A lovely entry into this contest, and it is not difficult to know who is behind this adorable drawing either. I remember you used to post a lot of them. I especially like the simplicity kept by a neutral background, and also the big smile on the girl's face.
I also like the delicate colors, the excellent pencil work and that you did not forget to add a shadow from the walking girl.
The format and framing is very good, and I like that you have given the girl room to walk into. A truly charming and well done drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a beautiful summer art painting and great contest entry. I do love the simplicity of the artwork. It is a bright and sunny and fun artwork with the little girl strolling on the beach in her hat, glasses and sundress. I can feel the heat of the sun. I love it. Good luck in the contest.

Sarah, you know I have difficulty in reviewing your work because there is nothing to improve. I love the wispy cloudy, the breezy day as shown by the billowing of her skirt. Maybe the horizon line could be straightened a bit....but maybe there are waves.
