The Lion and the mouses' eyes are correctly aligned and perfectly match the thread of the story notes - Bravo.
The positioning of the main characters is masterful.

What a great digital artwork. I think I see a giraffe in each of the eyes. The Intense look in the eyes make you want to stare back at him. The foreground is a nice touch. Great initial impact.

Subtle and intense as well as well as well defined. Took me about a full minute to see the giraffe in the lion's eyes. Saw the mouse and then the berries first then looked to see why the lion's eyes seemed a little off with the shading in the iris. Then I got it. Nice play in manipulating reality to represent a concept. Reasons for my five star vote.

I like the witty narrative to set the tone of the piece, which I always find very important as sometimes it would be hard or impossible to work out the piece, be it photograph or artwork, without it - The concept is fantastic, that this "top of the food chain" king of the jungle is setting his sights on these small tender berries, not aggressively hunting other mammals as is the norm. The painting is exquisite in it's detail, with great subtle shading and texturing of the brown to black fur on his head and mane, contrasting well in this close up painting with the white foliage and red berries of the plant in front. The eyes are the most amazing part, beautiful yellow and in the centre of each black pupil a tiny Giraffe is visible, reflected from a distance. This is one lucky Giraffe today! And a great and wonderfully composed piece overall painted with great creativity, well done :)

Wow, you really got close to the lion. Great composition. The eyes are framed by the grasses, and the eyes are very expressive and sharp. nice catch lights, Good color, lighting . Well done
